A Floatplane or Seaplane endorsement is a great way to enhance your flying skills and experience the thrill of taking off and landing on the water.

Our instructors are experienced pilots with diverse aviation backgrounds from G.A. bush flying and seaplane charter, through multi-engine turbines and Boeing 737’s with Australian domestic airlines.

All testing is in-house and your logbook and paperwork certified and processed on completion of the training course.

The course includes a comprehensive 7 hours of flying in either the immaculate Akuna Seaplanes' Cessna 172 Hawk XP Floatplane, or Cessna 206 Amphibian Floatplane. All briefings and discussions are included. Floatplane / Seaplane Training can be completed at either Port Macquarie or the Sunshine Coast.

We would suggest allowing a minimum of three days to account for any weather problems, but anticipate being able to complete your training in two days if required.
